MODIGLIANI @ The Tate Modern

At the TATE Modern FINISHED

The highlight of this incredible exhibition are the 12 nudes on display, the largest group ever reunited in the UK. These sensuous works were so controversial when they were first shown in 1917, that the police censored Modigliani's only ever solo exhibition on the grounds of indecency!

I loved seeing such radical sculptures, and of course the portraits of his friends, lovers and supporters, including Pablo Picasso, Constantin Brancusi and his partner Jeanne Hébuterne.
