Alex, Head of Afternoon Session in Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christie’s, is responsible for managing the conception and execution of the department’s headline Day sales in New York. He drives valuations, consignments, catalogue production, exhibition installation, and sale management within his role. Alex initially joined Christie’s within the Impressionist & Modern Art department, and continues to work across the entire 20th century category (and a bit beyond when possible!).
He enjoys visiting galleries in Chelsea and the Lower East Side, museums uptown and downtown, and finding art far and wide wherever travels take him for work and fun.
